Ukrainian military and security forces keep pulling mercenaries from various countries and Ukrainian volunteers from the Rights Sector (an extremist organization banned in Russia) to Stanitsa Luganskaya. Andrei Marochko, the Spokesman for the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) Militia made such statement today, on May 24.
“The Ukrainian government continues relying on the help of foreign mercenaries and volunteer corps of the Right Sector to make provocations against peaceful population and militaries of the People’s militia,” he said.
“By our data, about 50 people have arrived at the Kondrashevskaya Station in Stanitsa Luganskaya region. They speak Hungarian,” Marochko said adding that the Right Sector’s up to one thousand people of various nationalities – Turks, Georgians and Tatars – have arrived at Bolotennoye village, Stanitsa Luganskaya region.
“The given facts once again prove that the Kiev authorities have no intention to hold a peaceful dialogue. Quite the contrary, they destabilize the situation with the help of various countries and persons of various nationalities,” he said.
Earlier, Colonel Oleg Anaschenko, the Head of the People’s Militia said the Command of the Kiev security forces has to recruit foreign mercenaries as the soldier of Ukraine’s Armed Forces refuse to fight.
As EADaily reported earlier, on the night to May 24, Presidents of Russia, France and Ukraine - Vladimir PutinFrancois Hollande and Petro Poroshenko - as well as German Chancellor Angela Merkel discussed the possibility of expanding the powers of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in Donbass. According to the Ukrainian president’s press office, the leaders hailed the launch of a police mission of the OSCE. The leadership of the Donbass republics came out against it. The Kremlin also said it must be a monitoring mission not a police one.
