Ukrainian police have detained the participants of a public rally, accusing them of being sympathetic to the "Russian world".
About a hundred local residents of the city of Toretsk in the Donetsk region in the night of July 5th, blocked the road to prevent the Ukrainian troops from passing through the city. The police and military dispersed the spontaneous protest, said the head of the national police of Ukraine in Donetsk region Vyacheslav Abroskin.
"Tonight in Toretsk a group of people from the local community, some with previous convictions, persons in a state of alcoholic intoxication, among whom were women, tried to block the movement of our military around the city. Only about 100 people," the head of the police in the Donetsk region of Ukraine wrote on his page on Facebook.
After a couple of hours after the start of the gathering the road was again free. A dozen people, suspected of organizing the protest, were brought to the police department. According to the statement of Vyacheslav Abroskin, all of them are awaiting trial for sympathy for the "Russian world".
