Ukrainian armament and nationalist battalions on the contact line

Kiev has deployed two columns of military equipment and about 200 people of staff to the line of contact in Donbass – the LPR's Deputy Chief of the People's Militia Corps Igor Yashchenko.

"Our intelligence continues recording the facts of deployment of the armament forbidden by the Minsk arrangements, and staff to the contact line," claimed Yashchenko.

According to the People’s Militia, from the locality of Shyroky, Stanichno-Lugansky area, there moved a column comprising 20 units of armoured vehicles, including 15 tanks, in the direction of the disengagement line.

All the outlined facts, in Yashchenko’s opinion, confirm systematic preparation of the Ukrainian military for resumption of the armed hostilities’ active phase.

According to the Deputy Chief of the People’s Militia, activization of attacks on the territories of the Lugansk People's Republic was initiated by the Ukrainian nationalist battalions.

Yashchenko assumed that in connection with public appeals of the Ukrainian nationalists to overthrow the authorities in power it is impossible to exclude also attempts of destabilization in the conflict zone.

"We consider them ready to backstab their own troops, in order to destabilize the situation, and then for the purpose of charging the forces of the People’s Militia," emphasized Yashchenko.
