SBU to check Transcarpathian regional council for “separatism"

The SBU is checking the content of the appeal of the Transcarpathian regional Council to the country's top authorities on decentralisation.

According to The Politnavigator, it was reported by the press-group of the SBU in the Transcarpathian region.

According to the press service, the SBU department in the Transcarpathian region, in accordance with their competence, is carefully examining the preliminary information, set out in the draft appeal of deputies of the Transcarpathian Regional Council to the senior authorities of the state under the name ‘On Appeal of the Transcarpathian Regional Council on amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine and laws of Ukraine in order to provide broad administrative and financial powers to local self-government bodies’.

‘On the results of the comprehensive check there will be taken measures defined by the current legislation of Ukraine,’ noted the SBU department.
