Israeli settlers stole on Thursday Palestinian olive crops in Burin village, south of Nablus, in the northern occupied West Bank.
Yehya Qadoos, head of Burin village council, told PIC that Israeli settlers crept into land lots belonging to Palestinian farmers and located near an Israeli military camp in the village, before they took away the olive harvest.
He said the theft has been carried out in the presence of the Israeli military.
As Palestinians embark on picking their olives, considered one of the main income-generating seasons for thousands of Palestinian families in the occupied territories, Israeli settlers increase assaults on Palestinian farmers and grab their harvest under heavy military escort.
