German Chancellor Angela Merkel has advocated a no-fly zone along the Syrian-Turkish border. She stated this on Wednesday in Berlin at a joint press conference with Maithripala Sirisena, the President of Sri Lanka, a country that is barely surviving in the fight against terrorism.

Thus, the Chancellor of Germany actually supports the long-standing ambition of Turkey to Annex the North of Syria by creating a no-fly zone, over a neighboring sovereign country, a member of the UN, to ensure security for Pro-Turkish terrorist groups operating in the area. In the characteristic style of Merkel, she justified the creation of "something like a no-fly zone" along the Turkish border in the interests of "the people in Aleppo and the surrounding area", although this measure, if realized, would also enable the Turks to deal more effectively with the Syrian Kurds across the border area.

Moreover, the Chancellor also claimed that the airstrikes of the Russian airforce and the Syrian air force, acting on the territory of their own country, "do not meet the spirit of the resolution adopted by the UN in December and, thus, efforts to reduce violence".

In Europe Merkel is increasingly accused of holding a capitulatory policy towards Turkey, which is an outrage both in Germany and in other countries of the EU, where it is believed that Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan cannot be trusted and they certainly should not be paying the Turks tribute, because without the cooperation of Ankara, Europe will not be filled in 2016 with more than 1 million illegal migrants. Now - under the pretext of concern about civilians in Aleppo - the German Chancellor spoke about another "no-fly zone", like the Libyan example was not enough, and terrorists must be protected from bombs and missiles, they should not be destroyed.

(Celle-là, faut la mettre chez les petits vieux, elle comprend plus rien au film ! note de rené)
