Local revolts overtake Ukraine

Today in Ukraine there are a lot of local protests which are almost not covered in mass media, this tendency was pointed out by the director of the Ukrainian institute of the analysis and management of policy Ruslan Bortnik during a press conference in Kiev.

‘Doctors, teachers, representatives of profile specialties protest. Roads are blocked. Even in our Bessarabka (Bessarabsky district of Kiev) traffic was blocked off three times over the past month. All this is almost suppressed in the media. We can see how the methods more characteristic of a military non-democratic regime are applied: there just come thugs in camouflage. Any protest, if it natural, immediately turns into power stand-off at once. I don’t believe in the Maidan-3, but a revolution or revolts are possible in Ukraine,’ said the political expert.
