Kiev’s military subjected Petrovsky district of Donetsk to 4-hour shelling

Last night the Ukrainian military shelled the Petrovsky district, situated in the frontal zone on the western outskirts of Donetsk, for four hours. It was reported by the Head of the district administration Maxim Zhukovsky.
‘Yesterday we had a shelling from 10pm to 2am. There were damaged three electrical substations in the locality Trudovskiye. Now electricians are working there,’ he said.

According to him, in the area there is also damaged a power line, at the moment three streets are left without electricity. Zhukovsky added that the shelling had been carried out from mortars and small arms from the positions of the Ukrainian military. Besides, in the locality Alexandrovka a private house was damaged by a grenade.
‘A shot from a hand grenade launcher hit a residential house in the locality Alexandrovka; as a result, the residents were not injured but the roof of the house was destroyed,’ said the Head of the district.

On January 13 after the meeting of the Contact Group in the capital of Belarus the parties urged everyone involved to comply with the regime of absolute silence but the Ukrainian side keeps violating it. Yesterday the Defense Ministry of the DPR reported that over the previous day the AFU had shelled the DPR territory 11 times, including the locality Trudovskiye in the Petrovsky district.
