Zelensky Visited the Ukrainian Nazi Battalions in the Donbass “Gray Zone”
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky arrived at the positions of volunteer battalions in the area of the village of Zolotoye, where the disengagement of forces and means is supposed to take place. This was announced on October 26th by the “RBK-Ukraine” website.
According to journalists of the publication, Vladimir Zelensky said that he came to military personnel to talk about serious topics.
At the same time, the Office of the President did not report Zelensky’s visit to the area of operation of the “Joint Forces” in Donbass.
As a reminder, the disengagement of forces and means in the districts of Petrovsky and Zolotoye was disrupted by Kievafter the radicals of Biletsky declared that they would not allow the implementation of this paragraph of the Minsk Agreements.
The radicals and veterans of the ATO effectively blocked the Ukrainian authorities’ implementation of the “Steinmeier formula” signed by them, which stipulates concrete steps for the implementation of the Minsk Agreements.
Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada from the “Opposition Platform – For Life” faction Yury Boyko believes that the Ukrainian government is not ready to withdraw forces in Donbass.
“The government was not ready to act decisively on the issue of disengaging troops. Nationalist groups were frightened, and the peace process stalled again. The disengagement of troops is an integral part of the Minsk Agreements, it is an important step towards peace,” said the politician.
